Law enforcement request guidelines
1. Overview
These guidelines outline the procedure for authorized law enforcement agencies and governmental officials to request customer data, transaction records, or other relevant information from us. We reserve the right to amend these guidelines from time to time.
We are committed to complying with lawful requests while protecting the privacy of our users as per applicable laws.
We will review each law enforcement request (“Law Enforcement Request”) and cooperate on a case-by-case basis. Each case will be reviewed and processed by us in accordance with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, internal policies, and any applicable laws and regulations as applicable from time to time.
All law enforcement requests addressed to us must be in English and be sent to evidence@weex.com. Please be informed that we will not respond to any requests for user data sent by non-law enforcement personnel or when the requests are not sent to the abovementioned email address.

3. Submission of requests
Authorized requests should be submitted to evidence@weex.com.
Please ensure all requests are properly formatted and contain all necessary supporting documents.
4. Processing time
We strive to process all requests as quickly as possible. Standard requests that have met the requirements stated in Paragraph 2 will typically be processed within 15 to 20 business days. We reserve the right to request further information to assist with our assessment of the case. For more complex or large-scale requests, additional time may be required.
5. Emergency requests
For emergency situations involving imminent harm, law enforcement agencies can request expedited assistance. These requests must be clearly marked as "Emergency" in the subject line and sent to evidence@weex.com. We will prioritize such requests for immediate review.
We will not review or reply to any request submitted by non-law enforcement agencies. Non-law enforcement officials such as private individuals or law firms should directly contact local law enforcement agencies if you are aware of an emergency situation.
6. User privacy protection
We value user privacy and will only release data to law enforcement when legally required. We comply with all relevant privacy and data protection laws and will not provide information without proper legal authority.
7. International requests
For requests from international law enforcement, we may require mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) documents or other formal international agreements. International requests must comply with applicable laws and international treaties.
8. Notice of request
Unless clearly stated in the valid legal order, or a valid legal basis has been provided by you that your request must be kept confidential, we may inform the relevant user before disclosing any personal data.
9. Disclaimer
Nothing contained herein shall be construed as our consent to any law enforcement request or our submission or acceptance to any jurisdiction. Each case will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We expressly reserve all our rights, including, but not limited to, the right to challenge jurisdiction and pursue any and all legal and equitable remedies available to us.
