In order to better protect your rights and adhere to the regulatory requirements of the global cryptocurrency industry, as well as to create a safer cryptocurrency trading environment for you, WEEX Exchange is implementing a series of important measures. We hereby make the following announcement:
1. KYC (Know Your Customer) Requirements: To ensure that our trading platform meets the highest security standards, WEEX Exchange will proactively require users to complete KYC identity verification based on their user's level. KYC is a series of procedures used by financial institutions and other regulated organizations to verify your identity. Through this process, we will be better able to assess risks and reduce the potential for risks in trading and other services.
2. Why KYC is Necessary: KYC is essential to ensure the security of your account and assets. By verifying users' identities, we can prevent malicious activities by unauthorized individuals and make your trading environment more secure and reliable. This measure will help safeguard your personal information and assets, providing greater protection for your investments. It is also outlined in section 3.3 of the User Agreement signed during account registration, as well as in section 12.1.1 regarding the necessity of identity documents and section 3.1 of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, all of which specify and explain the requirements.
3. How to Complete KYC Verification: To complete the KYC identity verification process, simply go to the yellow profile icon in the upper left corner of your software's homepage and upload the required documents under "Identity Verification." We will ensure that your information is verified in a legal and secure manner, granting you access to additional trading and withdrawal benefits.
We sincerely hope that you understand and actively cooperate with WEEX's KYC verification process. This is for your own benefit and the safety of your transactions. Once you have completed real-name authentication, you will be exempt from any potential restrictions in the future, while also contributing to the overall security of our entire trading platform.
