Copiers have three options when they are setting the copy trading leverage.
Using your own leverage as a copier
Open positions according to your futures leverage settings.
For example: If your BTCUSDT leverage is 10× and the elite trader's futures leverage is 20×, you will copy that trader at 10× leverage. This setting is also applied when you copy multiple elite traders, and you will copy their trades at 10× leverage.
Fixed leverage
When the elite trader opens a position, you copy the position with the exact leverage that you've set. However, this copy trading action will fail if you don't have enough balance in your account.
For example, you have your leverage set to 5× and you are copying an elite trader's BTCUSDT trades. With this setting, you will copy the elite trader's trades with your leverage at 5× regardless of what leverage is used by the elite trader.
Follow the elite trader's leverage
When you are copying more than one elite trader, you will copy and open positions based on the leverage set by the elite traders at the time of position opening. However, you may fail to open positions if there is not enough balance in your account.
For example, Trader A and Trader B set their leverages as 10× and 20× respectively. When Trader A opens a position, the leverage of 10× applies to your copy trading position as a copier. When Trader B opens a position, you will copy the leverage of 20× which has been set by Trader B.
Note: When you select the fixed leverage, or when you follow the elite trader's leverage, this leverage will be used to determine if you have enough funds in your account to proceed. Choosing one of these two options will not modify your actual futures leverage.
