To ensure account security and comply with international requirements by law, you are required to complete KYC identity verification via the Sumsub system. In this guide, we will walk you through the verification process on the app. The KYC identity verification process on the WEEX app via the Sumsub system generally includes the following steps:
Step 1: On the app's home screen, tap the 9-dot icon in the top left corner.
Step 2: Tap on the avatar to open up your user menu.
Step 3: Tap "ID Verification."
Step 4: Select your country/region of citizenship.
Step 5: Select the "Issuing country/region" and "Document Type" of your identity document, then tap "Continue."
Step 6: Tap "Continue" after you upload your document.
Step 7: After granting camera access, follow the on-screen instructions to complete KYC identity verification.
Step 8: Once the liveness check is complete, please be patient and wait for the manual review to be finished.
Generally, the manual review will be completed within three working days. If you fail the review process, the following reasons may apply:
1. The uploaded ID document is unclear or incomplete.
2. Poor lighting, an obscured face, or a blurry camera can result in a liveness check failure.
3. Unstable internet connection during the document upload or liveness check, causing the process to be incomplete.
4. The same document or facial information has been used by another account.
