Fetch.AI (FET) Introduction – WEEX

Fetch.AI aims to create a decentralized digital economy system. Its core objective is to facilitate more efficient and fair economic systems by enabling automated economic transactions and smart contract execution through the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Fetch.AI introduces a unique concept called the Agent-based Economy, where various digital agents (such as data providers, service providers, and consumers) can interact and transact automatically. According to Fetch.AI's vision, everyone will have multiple economic agents on the Fetch.AI platform. These agents operate in parallel or in series to devise solutions for current and future complex problems, which will be more elegant and superior to their human counterparts.

The FETCH.AI team has strong backgrounds and practical experience in both artificial intelligence and blockchain fields. The project has three founders, among whom two founders, Humayun Sheikh and Toby Simpson, were early investors in the globally leading artificial intelligence company DeepMind, with Toby Simpson also serving as DeepMind's Head of Software Design.

FET Introduction

FET is the token issued by the Fetch.AI platform, used for discovering, creating, deploying, and training autonomous economic agents, as well as being an integral part of smart contracts and oracles.

Fetch.AI has its own blockchain, combining both PoW and PoS mechanisms. Miners can earn FET token rewards by providing verification services on the network. Nodes and agents are required to stake a certain amount of FET to obtain specific operational privileges (security mechanisms to prevent malicious behavior).
